for the year 2016
Nestlé India relates to

The Annual Branch Conference was held at
all four Branches in the month of January. It
comprised of an opening note by our CMD,
followed by key note addresses by senior
leaders of the organization. The event set the
tone for the year and motivated the employees
to achieve our ambition of Grow2Win.
Commencing the Year
with a ‘Sankalp’
In India since 1912, Nestlé India saw relevance
in participating in the ‘ Make In India Week 2016’
organized by the Department of Industrial Policy
& Promotion (DIPP), Government of India and
the Government of Maharashtra. The Event
was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister
Mr. Narendra Modi. Several State dignitaries
including the Finance Minister-Mr. Arun Jaitley,
visited the Nestlé India Pavilion. It was an
opportunity for us to showcase our contribution
to India’s growth and development for over a
century and to remain a committed partner living
by the ideals of ‘Make In India’.

The entire Infant Nutrition field-force gathered
for a day-long session on objectives and
priorities for 2016 and writing their ‘Sankalp’
for the year. Sessions by Regional Business
Head, Branch Manager and Branch Nutrition
Operations Manager, set the pace for 2016.
A ‘First’ in Nestlé SAR, the
“Single Pack Manufacturing” of MAGGI
Noodles Chotu Packs was piloted at
Pantnagar with a 100% accuracy in the weight.
This was ensured through the installation of 5
new check weighers on 5 wrapping machines
– demonstrating the team’s focus on business
excellence.
