Neville Bradshaw MX 1<br />
Raynard posted pocket 3rd places in both<br />
the MX1 and MX2 divisions, which saw him<br />
retain the lead in MX2, and sneak ahead of<br />
Neville Bradshaw in MX1, to place him as<br />
points leader in both MX1 and MX2 going<br />
into the next event.<br />
Ian Topliss was back to his comfortable spot<br />
up front of the MX3 divisions, where he took<br />
both heats with comfortable leads. Ryan<br />
Hunt was in the chase throughout, as was<br />
Brett Bircher, but Topliss managed to stave<br />
them off for the win.<br />
In the MX Ladies division it was once again<br />
all about Brittany Cuthbert, who stayed out<br />
front all day pretty much. Nanda Clows and<br />
Toni Jardine chased her hard, but neither of<br />
them was quick enough to get into the lead.<br />
In the 125 High School Division Marco De<br />
Vrye was looking like a winner, and held<br />
onto the lead for most of the 2nd heat with<br />
ease. Slade Smith however managed to<br />
close the gap with some smooth riding and<br />
shot into the lead while De Vrye ran out of<br />
steam and fell back a few places to take<br />
third behind Smith and Keegan Hickson-<br />
Mahony in second.<br />
A massive turnout and some great racing<br />
made for a very special day and a great<br />
welcome back into the SA Nationals for<br />
Richie van der<br />
Westhuizen MX 1<br />
Bloemfontein. The BORC track impressed<br />
all, and was well maintained throughout<br />
the day.<br />
The next event in the Monster Energy TRP<br />
Distributors SA National MX Champs is set<br />
to take place at Syringa, Muldersdrift SA<br />
on 2 July.<br />
