1. Safety Precautions<br />

• Read the following “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS” carefully before perform any servicing.<br />

• Electrical work must be installed or serviced by a licensed electrician. Be sure to use the correct rating of the<br />

power plug and main circuit for the model installed.<br />

• The caution items stated here must be followed because these important contents are related to safety. The<br />

meaning of each indication used is as below. Incorrect installation or servicing due to ignoring of the instruction<br />

will cause harm or damage, and the seriousness is classified by the following indications.<br />

WARNING This indication shows the possibility of causing death or serious injury<br />

CAUTION<br />

This indication shows the possibility of causing injury or damage to properties.<br />

• The items to be followed are classified by the symbols:<br />

Symbol with white background denotes item that is PROHIBITED from doing.<br />

Symbol with dark background denotes item that must be carried out.<br />

• Carry out test run to confirm that no abnormality occurs after the servicing. Then, explain to user the operation,<br />

care and maintenance as stated in instructions. Please remind the customer to keep the operating instructions for<br />

future reference.<br />

WARNING<br />

1. Engage dealer or specialist for installation. If installation done by the user is defective, it will cause water leakage,<br />

electrical shock or fire.<br />

2. Install according to this installation instructions strictly. If installation is defective, it will cause water leakage, electrical<br />

shock or fire.<br />

3. Use the attached accessories parts and specified parts for installation. Otherwise, it will cause the set to fall, water<br />

leakage, fire or electrical shock.<br />

4. Install at a strong and firm location which is able to withstand the set’s weight. If the strength is not enough or installation<br />

is not properly done, the set will drop and cause injury.<br />

5. Do not install outdoor unit near handrail of veranda. When installing air-conditioner unit at veranda of high rise building,<br />

child may climb up to outdoor unit and cross over the handrail and causing accident.<br />

6. For electrical work, follow the local national wiring standard, regulation and this installation instruction. An independent<br />

circuit and single outlet must be used. If electrical circuit capacity is not enough or defect found in electrical work, it will<br />

cause electrical shock or fire.<br />

7. This equipment is strongly recommended to be installed with Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) or Residual Current<br />

Device (RCD). Otherwise, it may cause electrical shock and fire in case equipment breakdown or insulation<br />

breakdown.<br />

8. This equipment must be properly earthed. Earth line must not be connected to gas pipe, water pipe, earth of lightning<br />

rod and telephone. Otherwise, it may cause electrical shock in case equipment breakdown or insulation breakdown.<br />

9. Do not use joint cable for indoor/outdoor connection cable. Use the specified <strong>Indoor</strong>/<strong>Outdoor</strong> connection cable, refer to<br />

installation instructions CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE INDOOR UNIT and connect tightly for indoor / outdoor<br />

connection. Clamp the cable so that no external force will be acted on the terminal. If connection or fixing is not<br />

perfect, it will cause heat up or fire at the connection.<br />

10. Wire routing must be properly arranged so that control board cover is fixed properly. If control board cover is not fixed<br />

perfectly, it will cause fire or electrical shock.<br />

11. When carrying out piping connection, take care not to let air substances other than the specified refrigerant go into<br />

refrigeration cycle. Otherwise, it will cause lower capacity, abnormal high pressure in the refrigeration cycle, explosion<br />

and injury.<br />

12. Do not use unspecified cord, modified cord, joint cord or extension cord for power supply cord. Do not share the single<br />

outlet with other appliances. Poor contact, poor insulation or over current will cause electrical shock or fire.<br />

13. • For R410A models, when connecting the piping, do not use any existing (R22) pipes and flare nuts. Using such<br />

same may cause abnormally high pressure in the refrigeration cycle (piping), and possibly result in explosion and<br />

injury. Use only R410A materials.<br />

• Thickness or copper pipes used with R410A must be more than 0.8 mm. Never use copper pipes thinner than 0.8 mm<br />

• It is desirable that the amount of residual oil is less than 40 mg/10 m.<br />

14. During installation, install the refrigerant piping properly before running the compressor. Operation of compressor<br />

without fixing refrigeration piping and valves at opened condition will cause suck-in of air, abnormal high pressure in<br />

refrigeration cycle and result in explosion, injury etc.<br />

15. During pump down operation, stop the compressor before remove the refrigeration piping. Removal of refrigeration<br />

piping while compressor is operating and valves are opened will cause suck-in of air, abnormal high pressure in<br />

refrigeration cycle and result in explosion, injury etc.<br />

16. After completion of installation or service, confirm there is no leakage of refrigerant gas. It may generate toxic gas<br />

when the refrigerant contacts with fire.<br />

17. Ventilate if there is refrigerant gas leakage during operation. It may cause toxic gas when the refrigerant contacts with<br />

fire.<br />

18. Recommended installation height for indoor unit shall be at least 2.5 m.<br />

19. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.<br />

20. Keep away from small children, the thin film may cling to nose and mouth and prevent breathing.<br />

21. Tighten the flare nut with torque wrench according to specified method. If the flare nut is over-tightened, after a long<br />

period, the flare may break and cause refrigerant gas leakage.<br />

22. Do not insert your fingers or other objects into the unit, high speed rotating fan may cause injury.<br />

23. Do not modify the machine, part, material during repairing service.<br />

24. Must not use other parts except original parts describe in catalog and manual.<br />

25. Do not tie up the power supply cord into a bundle by hand. Abnormal temperature rise on power supply cord may<br />

happen.<br />

26. Do not sit or step on the unit, you may fall down accidentally.<br />

27. Keep plastic bag (packaging material) away from small children, it may cling to nose and mouth and<br />

prevent breathing.<br />

28. When install or relocate air conditioner, do not let any substance other than the specified refrigerant, eg.<br />

air etc. mix into refrigeration cycle (piping). Mixing of air etc. will cause abnormal high pressure in<br />

refrigeration cycle and result in explosio.<br />

29. <strong>Indoor</strong> unit must be installed close against the wall.<br />

30.All-pole disconnection incorporated in the fixed wiring is to be provided.<br />

CAUTION<br />

1. Do not install the unit at place where leakage of flammable gas may occur. In case gas leaks and accumulates at<br />

surrounding of the unit, it may cause fire.<br />

2. Carry out drainage piping as mentioned in installation instructions. If drainage is not perfect, water may enter the room<br />

and damage the furniture.<br />

3. Do not touch outdoor unit air inlet and aluminums fin. It may cause injury.<br />

4. Select an installation location which is easy for maintenance.<br />

5. Power supply connection to the air conditioner.<br />

Connect the power supply cord of the air conditioner to the mains using one of the following methods.<br />

Power supply point should be in easily accessible place for power disconnection in case of emergency.<br />

In some countries, permanent connection of this air conditioner to the power supply is prohibited.<br />

1) Power supply connection to the receptacle using a power plug.<br />

Use an approved 15/16A power plug with earth pin for the connection to the receptacle.<br />

2) Power supply connection to a circuit breaker for the permanent connection. Use an approved 16A circuit breaker for<br />

the permanent connection. It must be a double pole switch with a minimum 3.5 mm contact gap.<br />

6. Do not release refrigerant.<br />

Do not release refrigerant during piping work for installation, re-installation and during repairing a refrigeration parts.<br />

Take care of the liquid refrigerant, it may cause frostbite.<br />

7. Installation or servicing work.<br />

It may need two people to carry out the installation and service work.<br />

8. Do not install this appliance in a laundry room or other location where water may drip from the ceiling, etc.<br />

9. Do not touch the sharp aluminium fin, sharp parts may cause injury.<br />

10. Thermal fuse specification for indoor unit: 250V 3.15A T3.15AL; outdoor unit: 205V 3.15A T3.15AL,.<br />

10. Installation Instruction<br />

10.1 Select the Best Location<br />

10.1.1 <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong><br />

• There should not be any heat source or steam near<br />

the unit.<br />

• There should not be any obstacles blocking the air<br />

circulation.<br />

• A place where air circulation in the room is good.<br />

• A place where drainage can be easily done.<br />

• A place where noise prevention is taken into consideration.<br />

• Do not install the unit near the door way.<br />

• Ensure the spaces indicated by arrows from the wall, ceiling,<br />

fence or other obstacles.<br />

• Recommended installation height for indoor unit shall be at<br />

least 2.5m.<br />

10.1.2 <strong>Outdoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong><br />

• If an awning is built over the unit to prevent direct sunlight or<br />

rain, be careful that heat radiation from the condenser is not<br />

obstructed.<br />

• There should not be any animal or plant which could be<br />

affected by hot air discharged.<br />

• Keep the spaces indicated by arrows from wall, ceiling, fence<br />

or other obstacles.<br />

• Do not place any obstacles which may cause a short circuit of<br />

the discharged air.<br />

• If piping length is over the rated length, additional refrigerant<br />

10.2 <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong><br />

10.2.1 How to Fix Installation Plate<br />

The mounting wall is strong and solid enough to prevent it from the vibration.<br />

The centre of installation plate should be at more<br />

than 450 mm at right and left of the wall.<br />

The distance from installation plate edge to<br />

ceiling should more than 175mm.<br />

From installation plate left edge to unit’s left side<br />

is 135 mm.<br />

From installation plate right edge to unit’s right<br />

side is 165 mm.<br />

○B : For left side piping, piping connection for liquid should be about 155 mm from this line.<br />

: For left side piping, piping connection for gas should be about 185 mm from this line.<br />

1 Mount the installation plate on the wall with 5 screws or more. (If mounting the unit on the wall, consider<br />

using anchor bolts.) Always mount the installation plate horizontally by aligning the marking-off line with<br />

the thread and using a level gauge.<br />

2 Drill the piping plate hole with ø70 mm hole-core drill.<br />

� Put measuring tape at position as shown in the diagram above. The hole centre is<br />

obtained by measuring the distance namely 115 mm and 120 mm for left and right hole<br />

respectively.<br />

� Drill the piping plate hole at either the right or left and the hole should be slightly slanted<br />

to the outdoor side.<br />

10.2.2 To Drill a Hole in the Wall and Install a Sleeve of Piping<br />

1 Insert the piping sleeve to the hole.<br />

2 Fix the busing to the sleeve.<br />

3 Cut the sleeve until it extrudes about 15mm from the wall<br />

Caution<br />

When the wall is hollow, please be sure to use the sleeve for tube<br />

ass’y to prevent dangers caused by mice biting the connecting<br />

cable.<br />

4 Finish by sealing the sleeve with putty or caulking compound at the<br />

final stage.<br />

10.2.4 Connect the Cable to the <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong><br />

1 The inside and outside connecting cable can be connected without removing the front grille.<br />

2 Connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit shall be approved polychloroprene sheathed 4x<br />

1.5mm 2 flexible cords, type designation 245 IEC 57 or heavier cord.<br />

� Ensure the color of wires of outdoor unit and the terminal numbers are the same to the indoor’s<br />

respectively.<br />

� Earth lead wire shall be longer than the other lead wires as shown in the figure for the electrical safety<br />

in case of the slipping out of the cord from the anchorage.<br />

� Secure the cable onto the board with the holder (clamper).<br />

2 When installing at roof, please consider strong wind and earthquake.<br />

Please fasten the installation stand firmly with bolt or nails.<br />

Connecting the piping to outdoor unit<br />

Decide piping length and then cut by using pipe cutter. Remove burrs from cut edge. Make flare after inserting the<br />

flare nut (locate at valve) onto the copper pipe. Align center of piping to valves and then tighten with torque wrench to<br />

the specified torque as stated in the table.<br />

10.3.2.2 Cutting and flaring the piping<br />

1 Please cut using pipe cutter and then remove the burrs.<br />

2 Remove the burrs by using reamer. If burrs are not removed, gas leakage may be caused. Turn the piping<br />

end down to avoid the metal powder entering the pipe.<br />

3 Please make flare after inserting the flare nut onto the copper pipes.<br />

10.3.3 Evacuation of the equipment<br />

When installing an air conditioner, be sure to evacuate the air inside the indoor unit and pipes in the follwing<br />

procidure.<br />

1 Connect a charging hose with a push pin to the low side of a charging set and the service port at the 3-way<br />

valve.<br />

� Be sure to connect the end of charging hose with the push pin to the service port.<br />

� The size of charging hose fitting should be 1/2 UNF, 20 threads.<br />

2 Connect the center hose of the charging set to a vacuum pump with check valve, or vacuum pump and<br />

vacuum pump adaptor.<br />

3 Turn on the power switch of the vacuum pump and make sure that the needle in the gauge moves from 0<br />

cmHg (0 Mpa) to –76 cmHg (-0.1 Mpa). Then evacuate the air approximately ten minutes.<br />

4 Close the Low side valve of the charging set and turn off the vacuum pump. Make sure that the needle in the<br />

gauge does not move after approximately five minutes.<br />

Note: BE SURE TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE IN ORDER TO AVOID REFRIGEANT GAS LEAKAG<br />

5 Disconnect the charging horse from the vacuum pump and from the service port of the 3-way valve.<br />

6 Tighten the service port caps of the 3-way valve at a torque of 18 N.m with a torque wrench.<br />

7 Remove the valve caps of both of the 2-way valve and 3-way valve. Position both of the valves to “OPEN”<br />

using a hexagonal wrench (4mm).<br />

8 Mount valve caps onto the 2-way and the 3-way valve.<br />

� Be sure to check for gas leakage.<br />

CAUTION:<br />

● If gauge needle does not move from 0 cmHg (0 MPa) to -76 cmHg (-0.1 MPa), in step 3 above take the following<br />

measure:<br />

● If the leak stops when the piping connections are tightened further, continue working from step 3.<br />

● If the leak does not stop when the connections are retightened, repair the location of leak.<br />

● Do not release refrigerant during piping work for installation and reinstallation. Take care of the liquid refrigerant,<br />

it may cause frostbite.<br />

10.3.4 Connect the cable to the <strong>Outdoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong><br />

1 Remove the control board cover from the unit by loosening the screw.<br />

2 Connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit shall be approved polychloroprene sheathed 4x<br />

1.5mm 2 flexible cords, type designation 245 IEC 57 or heavier cord.<br />

3 Secure the cable onto the control board with the holder (clamper).<br />

4 Attach the control board cover back to the original position with the screw.<br />

5 For wiring stripping and connection requirement, refer to instruction 10.2.4 of indoor unit.<br />

10.3.5 Pipe Insulation<br />

1 Please carry out insulation at pipe connection portion as mentioned in <strong>Indoor</strong>/<strong>Outdoor</strong> <strong>Unit</strong> Installation<br />

Diagram. Please warp the insulated piping end to prevent water from going inside the piping.<br />

2 If drain hose or connecting piping is in the room (where dew may form), please increase the insulation by<br />

using POLY-E-FOAM with thickness 6mm or above.<br />

11. Service Mode<br />

11.1 Auto OFF/ON Button<br />

1. AUTO OPERATION MODE<br />

Once the Auto OFF/ON button is slightly pressed, the unit will immediately operate in Auto operation. This<br />

operation can be used to operate air conditioner with limited function if remote control is misplaced or<br />

malfunction.<br />

2. TEST RUN OPERATION( FOR PUMP DOWN/ SERVICING PURPOSE)<br />

Press the button continuously for approximate 5 second and then release. A “beep” sound will be heard to<br />

identify the starting of TEST RUN OPERATION.<br />

3. HEATING OPERATION<br />

A) Within 5 minutes after TEST RUN operation starting, press the button again for more than 5 seconds until 2<br />

“beep” sounds are heard, the unit will operate in heating mode.<br />

B) Pressed the button continuously for approximate 8 second and then released. 2 “beep” sounds will be<br />

heard to identify the starting of HEATING operation.<br />

4. DIFFERENT CONTROLLING SETTING.<br />

Press the button continuously for approximate 11 until 3 “beep” sounds are heard and together with the signal<br />

from remote controller, the unit can be changed to different controlling setting.<br />

For transmission code selection method, please refer to “Select Remote Control Transmission Code”<br />

5. INDIVIDUAL COUNTER-ACTION<br />

When the switch is continuously pressed between 16 to 21 seconds, either H14 error detection selection mode or<br />

remote controller’s signal receiving sound can be cancelled or turned on.<br />

11.2 Select Remote Control Transmission Code<br />

� There are 4 types of remote control transmission code could be selected and stored in EEPROM of indoor PCB.<br />

The indoor unit will only operate when received signal with same transmission code from remote control. This<br />

could prevent signal interference when there are 2 or more indoor units installed near by together.<br />

� To Change the code of remote controller, following table I to join or cut jumper wire on the remote controller and<br />

setting with "Forced operation button". Four codes (A, B, C, D) can be selected. Taking code "B" for example,<br />

the process below should be follow.<br />

1. Press the "Auto OFF/ON” button on the indoor unit for approximate 11 seconds until 3 "Beep’s signal receiving<br />

sounds are heard.<br />

2. Within 5 minutes, gently press the "ERROR RESET" button on the remote control towards the indoor unit.<br />

One "Beep" sound is heard.<br />

3. Within 60 seconds, press any button on the remote control, the frequency of which was set as "B". Setting is<br />

completed after a "Beep" sound is heard. The corresponding signal sent by remote control "B" will be received<br />

by this indoor unit.<br />

11.3.3 Temperature adjusting button<br />

Temperature adjusting range is between 16 ℃~30 ℃<br />

11.3.4 Fan speed button<br />

There are 5 speed levels can be selected. The display on the remote controller changes as follows by pressing the AIR SWING<br />

button.<br />

11.3.5 AIR SWING button<br />

To adjust vertical airflow directions by pressing AIR SWING button (5 options)<br />

11.3.6 QUIET AND POWERFULL button<br />

Start Quiet operation: Press QUIET button until “QUIET” displaying on remote control display to identify Quiet mode<br />

operating.<br />

Start POWERFUL operation: Press POWERFUL button until “POWERUL” displays on remote control display to<br />

identify Powerful mode operating.<br />

Switch Quiet/Powerful operation to normal operation: Press QUIET or POWERFUL button until “QUIET” or<br />

“POWERFUL” on remote control display disappear, which identifies the unit returns to normal operation.<br />

Note: QUIET and POWERFUL operation can not be active simultaneously.<br />

11.3.7 Timer setting button<br />

There are 4 types of timer setting by pressing Timer setting button: ON-TIMER, OFF-TIMER, ON-OFF TIMER, OFF-<br />

ON TIMER.<br />

1) SELECT button<br />

� When the air conditioner is ON, OFF-TIMER or OFF-ON TIMER can be selected by pressing SELECT<br />

button.<br />

� When the air conditioner is turned off, ON-TIMER or ON-OFF-TIMER can be selected.<br />

2) Button A and B<br />

Pressing button A can change the time for ON-TIMER and OFF-TIMER, off time for OFF-ON Timer, on time for<br />

ON-OFF TIMER; Pressing button B can change the on time for OFF-ON Timer and off time for ON-OFF Timer setting.<br />

3) SET/CANCEL button.<br />

Pressing the button to set or cancel the set timer during the timer setting or activate the previous timer setting. After the<br />

timer setting is determined, “ON” or “OFF” will stop flashing. If the timer setting is cancelled, “ON” or “OFF” will disappear<br />

on the remote control display.<br />

NOTE:<br />

� OFF Timer and OFF- ON Timer can only be set during the operation;<br />

� Timer setting can operate only once.<br />

� If the OFF/ON button on the remote control or the AUTO Switch on the indoor unit is pressed, the timer setting<br />

will be cancelled.<br />

� If Auto Restart Control occurs, timer setting will be cancelled.<br />

� During the operation, if the ON Timer or ON-OFF Timer is set, the operation will be stopped.<br />

11.3.8 About Cursor Key Which Points To “OFF” On Remote Control<br />

When the ON/OFF button on the remote control is pressed, the cursor key which points to “OFF” will appear or disappear to<br />

indicate the ON/OFF status of the air conditioner.<br />

For some reason (Ex. The signal of the remote control does not reach the signal receiver of the indoor unit.), the display of the<br />

remote control will not correspond with the actual ON/OFF status of the indoor unit:<br />

1. The air conditioner is running but the cursor key which points to “OFF” appears. The air conditioner can be stopped with<br />

any button (Except for “ON/OFF”, “TIMER A”,”TIMER B”,”SELECT”) pressed.<br />

2. The air conditioner is on standby, but the cursor key which points to “OFF” disappears. The air conditioner can be started<br />

with any button (Except for “ON/OFF”, “TIMER A”,”TIMER B”,”SELECT”) pressed.<br />

12. Operation Control<br />

12.1 Basic Function<br />

12.1.1 Internal Setting Temperature<br />

Once the operation starts, remote control setting temperature will be taken as base value for temperature shifting<br />

processes. These shifting processes are depending on the air conditioner settings and the operation environment.<br />

The final shifted value will be used as internal setting temperature and it is updated continuously whenever the<br />

electrical power is supplied to the unit.<br />

12.1.2 Cooling Operation<br />

12.1.2.1 Thermostat control<br />

• Compressor is OFF when Intake Air Temperature - Internal Setting Temperature < -1.5℃<br />

• Immediately after the fan motor started, feedback control is performed once every second.<br />

• During fan motor on, if fan motor feedback 2550 rpm or < 50 rpm continue for 10 seconds, then fan motor error<br />

counter increases, fan motor then stops and restarts. If the fan motor counter becomes 7 times, then H19 - fan motor<br />

error is detected. Operation stops and cannot on back.<br />

Delay ON Timer can be set using remote controller, the unit with timer set will start operate earlier than the setting<br />

time for ON Timer or ON-OFF Timer setting, indoor ( at fan speed of Lo-) and outdoor fan motor start operate for 30<br />

seconds to determine the indoor intake air temperature and outdoor air temperature in order to judge the operation


mode. From the above judgment, the decided operation will start operate earlier than the set time as shown below.<br />

13. Protection control<br />

13.1 Protection Control For All Operations<br />

13.1.1 Time Delay Safety Control<br />

● The Compressor will not turn on within 3 minutes from the moment operation stops, although the unit is turned on<br />

again by pressing OFF/ON button at remote control within this period.<br />

● This control is not applicable if the power supply is cut off and on again.<br />

● This phenomenon is to balance the pressure inside the refrigerant cycle.<br />

13.1.2 30 Seconds Forced Control<br />

● Once the air conditioner is turned on, the compressor will not stop within 30 seconds in a normal operation<br />

although the intake air temperature has reached the thermo-off temperature. However, force stop by pressing the<br />

OFF/ON button at the remote control is permitted or the Auto OFF/ON button at indoor unit.<br />

● The reason for the compressor to force operation for minimum 30 seconds is to allow the refrigerant oil run in a<br />

full cycle and return back to the outdoor unit.<br />

13.1.3 Total running current control<br />

1. If the outdoor unit total running current is detected exceeding I1(A), the frequency instructed for compressor<br />

operation will be decreased.<br />

2. If the running current does not exceed I1(A) for 5 seconds, the frequency instructed will be increased.<br />

13.1.4 IPM (Power transistor) Protection Control.<br />

1. DC Peak Current Control<br />

● When electric current to IPM exceeds set value of 7A(for <strong>RE9NKE</strong>),15.7A(for <strong>RE12NKE</strong>), or 19.3A(for<br />

<strong>RE15NKE</strong>) the compressor will stop. It will restart after three minutes.<br />

● If the set value is exceeded again within 30 seconds, the operation will restart after one minute.<br />

● If this condition repeats continuously for seven times, all indoor and outdoor relays will be cut off.<br />

● Error code [F99] will be displayed.<br />

2. Overheating protection control<br />

When the IPM temperature rises to 120 ℃ , compressor will stop immediately.<br />

Compressor restarts after three minutes if the temperature decreases to 110℃<br />

13.1.5 Compressor Overheating Prevention Control<br />

Instructed frequency for compressor operation will be regulated compressor discharge temperature. The change of<br />

frequency is as below.<br />

14.1 Refrigeration cycle system<br />

In order to diagnose malfunctions, make sure that there are no<br />

electrical problems before inspecting the refrigeration cycle. Such<br />

problems include insufficient insulation, problem with the power<br />

source, malfunction of a compressor and a fan. The normal outlet<br />

2. The error code is changed and diagnosis signal is transmitted to the indoor unit by pressing the Temp Up button<br />

on the remote control.<br />

15. Disassembly and Assembly Instructions<br />

WARNING<br />

High Voltage is generated in the electrical parts area by the capacitor. Ensure that the capacitor has discharged<br />

sufficiently before proceeding with repair work. Failure to heed this caution may result in electric shocks.<br />

Removal Procedure for Intake Grille<br />

1. Open the intake grille and pull it to the horizontal position.<br />

2. Pull up the intake grille until it falls off.<br />

Removal Procedure for Front Grille<br />

1. Remove the two caps at the discharge port (right and left) and then release the two screws on both sides.<br />

Removal Procedure for Main Electronic Controller<br />

1. After front grille is taking off, remove the cover of control board and holder, then the Main PCB can be seen.<br />

3. Drag out the supporting hook to the right side and pull up a bit the main PCB. Then release the lead wire<br />

connecting to CN-FM, CN-STM3, earth wire (Yellow/Green) on main PCB, take out the sensor from the holder on<br />

evaporator, release the CN1 connector on indicator PCB, pull out the whole electronic controller. Be sure to avoid<br />

cracking of the supporting hook.<br />

4. Remove the control board complete<br />

Loose the screws of control board complete, then the whole control board can be pulled out.<br />

Removal Procedure for Cross Flow Fan<br />

1. Release fixing screws on both side, disassembly the fixing board from evaporator on the left side and pull out the<br />

whole evaporator.<br />

2. Loose the fixing screw of the cross flow fan.<br />

3. After removing the bearing, indoor fan can be taken out from the left side<br />

4. Lift up the indoor fan slightly, and then pull the fan motor out.<br />
