great artists at Steam Gallery at Beer<br />
Steam Gallery at Beer has built a reputation for hand<br />
made glass. One of the finest makers is Peter Layton<br />
who is widely credited with leading the buoyant revival<br />
of glass making in Britain.<br />
We have worked closely with Peter over many years<br />
and are able to present a selection of great pieces in<br />
the gallery. Since his series reflecting the work of David<br />
Hockney which was exhibited at the Royal Academy he<br />
has followed these themes with pieces on the work of<br />
Monet and Klimt examples of which are shown here.<br />
Steam Gallery exhibits other leading glass makers such<br />
as Bob Crooks, Stuart Akroyd, Siddy Langley, Lucy Batt<br />
and Bruce Marks and will shortly be presenting a selection<br />
of glass from Notarianni in Dorset.<br />
Come and appreciate the colour, light and excitement<br />
