With a series of sell out events ranging from fabulous folk with “Show of Hands”, “Police Dog Hogan” and “Mad Dog Mcrea” to the ever popular, quality, amateur drama groups; Honiton Community Theatre Company, WHOOPS, and comedy with Henning Wehn, The Beehive is quickly earning an enviable reputation as a quality South West venue. Marchant Mason Prestige Property Agents in Barnstaple was created from a passion for marketing and luxury property. James Marchant, a partner at the agency, is also the successful founder and CEO of Eye Sky Group, which has the largest fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones in the UK. Itʼs this keen interest in unique ways of marketing, such as aerial photography, which led to Marchant Masonʼs launch earlier this year. James said: “We all have a strong A Gold Award for Devonshire magazine Devonshire magazine have been delighted to receive a Gold Award from Advertising Inspector - the advertising comparison website. Devonshire magazine’s Nigel Jones, said “It’s great when your efforts are recognised by an advertising industry body such as Advertising Inspector. What’s excellent is the way the comparison demonstrates in James Marchant detail how our high scoring was achieved - through extensive, high quality editorial and photography, massive reach and by providing outstanding value to our advertisers. Weʼre focusing on prestige properties because we feel we can give them the type of marketing they need and deserve. Having worked in the property sector for over 15 years, we have seen a lot of formulaic and tired marketing methods being used for properties in the area. Weʼre aiming to turn this around by showcasing properties in creative and innovative ways. We run the London SW Property Club meeting every month to showcase our properties to buyers in the South East and indeed worldwide.” Contact 01271 320694 or visit: www.marchantmason.co.uk ADVERTISING nspector hubcast GOLD award Totnes Gallery expands Devon gallery White Space Art will open a second exhibition space in Salcombe this summer to accompany its Totnes gallery. Owner Jolyon White (above) is excited about the venture. “We are really pleased to have this opportunity. After 13 years, the time is right to start something new, Salcombe is a beautiful town and the building has real character.” They will take over the charming Coves Quay Gallery, an old warehouse tucked away off the alternative, bustling Island Street. White Space was founded in 2003 by Jolyon and his artist wife, Sarah Bowman. Over the years, the gallery has steadily grown its reputation as a place where established artists and emerging talent can be seen together. They are also regulars on the London art fair circuit, taking regional artists to a wider market. Meanwhile Sarah Bowman has become a highly regarded and collectable painter in her own right. The White Space summer exhibition starts 23 July in both galleries, featuring new work by gallery artists. Visit: www.whitespaceart.com 9
