2016 and listed in the No. 5 spot at the ‘Y’ wide receiver<br />

position on the 2016 preseason depth chart. Laris, the<br />

top wide receiver from the state of Washington in the<br />

2016 recruiting class according to Scout, was a four-year prep letterwinner<br />

that racked up career totals of 174 receptions, 3,020 yards receiving and<br />

30 touchdown catches. He had a huge season as a 2015 senior when he<br />

earned the second of his two consecutive first-team All-State honors after<br />

leading the 3A Metro District with 67 catches while ranking third with 1,098<br />

yards receiving and tied for third with 10 touchdowns for the top-ranked<br />

team in Washington that posted an unbeaten 13-0 overall mark and 4-0<br />

record in 3A Metro action to win second consecutive state and division titles.<br />

His numbers were even bigger as a 2014 junior when he recorded career<br />

highs of 72 receptions, 1,394 yards receiving and 16 touchdown catches.<br />

career by playing in 12 games with 11 starts in his second season in the<br />

Golden Bears’ program as a 2015 sophomore. Looney was second among<br />

defensive linemen with 35 tackles as a sophomore trailing only Kyle Kragen<br />

while adding 3.0 tackles for loss (-11 yards), 1.0 sacks (-4 yards), one pass<br />
