Tomagino
This tasty cherry vine has sweet, crunchy tomatoes of 20 to 22 grams. The fruit colours
through quickly and uniformly to give an orange-red colour. The trusses need only to have
the ends nipped off, and have a flat, fishbone shape. The plant is strong, generative, and
has shorter internodes then other cherry varieties. In the summer months it is necessary to
promote growth. Tomagino is a very productive variety with excellent shelf life.
This smaller sized baby plum has good Brix and very high number of developed trusses. The
plant has very good vigour and more of a compact plant habit making it suitable for lower
greenhouses. The truss is compact and harvesting is generally off only 2 trusses, meaning
very labour-efficient harvesting. Even after a long, hot summer the variety still has strength to
give.
