Another Twist in The Tale

WE PURCHASED A DETACHED 3 BEDROOMED PROPERTY VIRTUALLY ON THE SEA SHORE
We purchased this lovely property at a ridiculously low price of about £3500, however as we
had bedrooms in the oven bakery business we rented the house out to the RAF because we
were told the rent we asked for would be paid monthly to us and they do a thorough search
on the tenants, in this case Officers.
After our 2 years in Ceylon, from 1962 – 69, we visited this rented property out of the blue to
see what state it was in and the first thing I did was go into the loft to see if our private goods
had been tampered with etc. Valerie and I were shocked, why?...
Valerie's stamp collection had a prime valuable stamp the penny black, (I can't remember
whether it was 1 or 3), was not to be seen anywhere in the loft plus my stamp collection had
been stolen also!!
