Another Twist in The Tale

So I said to myself “ok I'll add this new title to my CV, it means nothing but it looks good on
paper”!! If I remember correctly Carl left approx with me having 6 months left to go on my
contract before it came to the end, I carried on daily with my job which I was enjoying
especially after Carl left, I was always treated by the rest of the Canadian team with suspicion
as I was now officially the spy in their camp which they did not appreciate or like after losing
their boss in such a way.
These following 6 months went very, very quickly and I thought I must give the tourist board
plenty of warning if I wanted to renew my contract for a further period or go from this very
interesting scene.
To all my contacts, I then sent a second CV, telling them of my promotion.
Two months before my 2 year contract came to an end I heard from various quarters, Chinese
whispers, or sorry, should say Singhalese whispers, that a German who is based in a hotel
training school in Kabul, Afghanistan, was coming as the principle to take over from Carl. I
was not surprised to hear it because if they can get his services without paying for it they are
going to take him, irrespective of myself being there. I was in a difficult position to decide
now after hearing all this??
Should I stay or move on. . . . . . . . . . . .
I chose the latter.
