learning and employment.
Here are just a few ways that we can support
you during your course at HALS:
• Accessing the internet and
learning resources
• Helping you to complete
homework tasks
• Developing your study skills
• Looking at job market Information
• Carrying out job searches, completing
job applications and CV writing
• Exploring your options after your
course and planning your next steps
• Applying for further and
higher education courses
• Preparing for job and course interviews
• Finding and applying for volunteering
opportunities
HALS has worked closely with Business
in the Community (BITC) to help our
learners to explore self employment
options and also help other employment
options with Haringey Employment
Support Team (HEST) who provide
access to local job vacancies and support
people through the application and
interview process.
collaboratively with HALS to promote
‘I am grateful to HAL’s team
who helped me to apply
for a grant and now it has
been accepted. This means
my place for my LLM at the
Birkbeck School of Law is
secured. The Team has been
very helpful, professional
and friendly which makes
the best experience you
could possibly have.’
