Volunteering can enable you to learn new skills, meet new people
and gain valuable experience that you can take into your future
career. It also gives you the opportunity to explore an area of work
that is of interest to you or try something completely different!
Haringey Adult Learning Service is offering volunteering
opportunities in a wide range of educational contexts. These
include helping in classrooms especially on the English, maths
and Computer programmes, also supporting learners who use
the Open Learning Centre to access online resources to help
with independent study. There may be other skill development
opportunities within the organisation which
can be explored.
If you are:
• passionate about education
and community learning
• enthusiastic about promoting
and championing learning
• interested in using your skills,
knowledge and experience to
make a change for yourself
and wider community
• keen to gain new skills,
experience and qualifications
• interested in enhancing your CV and
developing wider confidence and
presentation skills
Then we want to hear from you.
