Orin Granger was the original owner who is said
to still take up residence and on many occasions
has been seen along with the namesake of the
Inn, Major Buxton who’s portrait is hanging on the
wall over the fireplace. I was told that there are
many ghosts who frequent the place, but the one
most seen and the most sought after is the woman
in the lovely blue dress who can be seen standing
in the window, at the top of the stairs and in the
room which she occupied and later died in, Bonnie
Bounell, also known as the Lady In Blue.
