Reubin is a pooch with a sixth sense.<br />
Somewhere to the south of Columbus, Ohio a golden pug<br />
paces the floor in front of a closed door. He senses<br />
something on the other side but cannot get to it. Its<br />
presence is disturbing to Reubin and before he is able to lie<br />
down in the dark of night on his favorite fuzzy blanket, he<br />
has to wait for the spirit to be still.<br />
Every night, somewhere between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.,<br />
it’s out there. When the door is left open, he confronts it,<br />
first with a territorial growl, warning it to move along,<br />
nothing to see here. If it doesn’t go he has a distinct whine<br />
that let’s his family know something is going on, and if it<br />
goes past the whine to the shrilling howl, no one can sleep
