THE EMPATH<br />
Just about every gifted individual begins with a<br />
feeling—an insight, a burden. We are often moved to<br />
grief over a situation that is not our own as we carry the<br />
feelings and emotions of one going through sadness or<br />
tragedy.<br />
When you are affected by another’s energy and have a<br />
true ability to intuitively feel and experience what they are<br />
going through, you are an empath. Like it or not, our lives<br />
are unconsciously influenced by others and what they are<br />
going through; their wishes, thoughts, pain, moods and<br />
desires. Being an empath is much more than being highly<br />
sensitive and it's not just limited to emotions.<br />
An empath knows stuff—how? Don’t ask them because<br />
they cannot answer you, they just do. Sometimes the<br />
weight of empathic knowledge is so heavy it can be<br />
overbearing. Being in a crowded room can be deafening<br />
as you hear and take on the feelings of the crowd. You<br />
have a genuine sense of honesty and can tell if someone is<br />
being truthful or hiding behind a lie. Often you pick up
