What brought you to USC?: I had a great undergraduate experience at<br />
USC, and when I was given the opportunity to return again as a graduate<br />
student, I was very excited. The faculty in my department are not<br />
only accomplished researchers, but they are also very willing to assist<br />
PhD students in whatever ways they can to help us be successful. The<br />
other PhD students in my program are also very welcoming, and that<br />
has made my first year a great experience.<br />
What do you hope to accomplish while you pursue your degree?: As I pursue my degree I hope to grow<br />
as both a researcher and as an educator. I am grateful to be in a program that will assist me in both<br />
these endeavors, as I will have the opportunity to be a research assistant to various faculty and also<br />
have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses.<br />
Fun fact about yourself: I used to be a competitive jump roper!<br />
