What brought you to USC?: I was drawn to USC by the great research<br />
being done by Ph.D students in chemical engineering, the entrepreneurship<br />
by many of the faculty, and the opportunity for my wife and I<br />
to obtain professional degrees at the same institution.<br />
What do you hope to accomplish while you pursue your degree?:<br />
While in school here I hope to make many professional connections, as well as further my knowledge<br />
and gain experience in the field of drug discovery.<br />
Fun fact about yourself: I have competed in several triathlons.<br />

What brought you to USC?: I want to build up my skill set and advocate<br />
for children whose mental health, family, individual pace, etc., frustrate<br />
their access to education as the gateway for success and opportunity.<br />
What do you hope to accomplish while you pursue your degree?: I’m<br />
interested in research for the purpose of being up-to-date and aware of the issues at hand, working<br />
towards prevention, intervention, and ultimately positive change.<br />
Fun fact about yourself: I’m still a kid at heart myself, and I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy<br />
working and advocating for children.<br />
