C ONC EPT BROC HURE<br />
A RC HAEOLOGY EXHIBI T<br />
Envisioned as a proposal for the<br />
brochure of the Archaeological Exhibit of<br />
the National Museum of the Philippines,<br />
the final product was to emphasize<br />
information <strong>and</strong> clarity as it adopted a<br />
recognizable colour palette drawing from<br />
the "maroon" of the National Museum of<br />
the Philippines logo; the "yellow" of the<br />
building; <strong>and</strong> darker tones which serve to<br />
counter the accents <strong>and</strong> ground the<br />
publication to the formal air of the<br />
museum. These colours served as the<br />
thematic base of the design, filtering<br />
over the background to allow the text<br />
<strong>and</strong> featured objects <strong>and</strong> exhibits in the<br />
brochure to contrast <strong>and</strong> be read.<br />
