Jules Lewis Gibson<br />
President, FUSE Media + Marketing<br />
A gratuate of Tulane University with dual degrees in art history and photography, Gibson spent<br />
the majority of the first 20 years of her career helping small businesses align their marketing,<br />
advertising and sales strategies. In 2011, she entered a new chapter of her career by acquiring<br />
Florida Homes Magazine. She soon expanded her titles to include Florida Boating Magazine and<br />
GRAVITAS Magazine, which has received rave reviews and industry awards, including a “Best New<br />
Magazine, 2015” award by the Florida Magazine Association. Her company, FUSE Media + also has<br />
a thriving custom publishing division, creating publications for prestigious organizations such as<br />
Michael Saunders & Company and the Paradise Coast Visitor Guide for the Collier County CVB.<br />
Born and raised in Atlanta, she now lives in Sarasota with her two young sons.<br />
Elana Schrader, M.D.<br />
Chief Medical Officer, Florida Blue<br />
Dr. Elana Schrader is Florida Blue’s chief medical officer. In this role, Schrader is responsible for<br />
the development of the overarching clinical strategy for Florida Blue and leading clinical activities<br />
including care management, health promotions and wellness, pharmacy, quality and clinical retail<br />
health initiatives. Since joining Florida Blue, Schrader has served in a number of innovative and<br />
transformational leadership roles. Most recently, she served as vice president of product where she<br />
was accountable for the design and development of new health solutions and the management of<br />
the product portfolio for commercial business. Prior to joining Florida Blue, Schrader served as the<br />
medical director for Columbia/HCA Memorial Hospital and also had a private practice in internal<br />
medicine in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Schrader is active in civic and community organizations.<br />
Recently named an honoree for the Jacksonville Business Journal’s <strong>2016</strong> Women of Influence,<br />
Schrader is a graduate of the 2007 class of Leadership Jacksonville and has served as Florida<br />
Blue’s executive leader of the Women’s Initiative Network. She is the 2015 and <strong>2016</strong> chairperson for<br />
the American Cancer Society’s Jacksonville Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. Schrader<br />
holds a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University. She received her medical training at<br />
Albert Einstein College of Medicine and trained in internal medicine at The New York Hospital of<br />
Cornell Medical College and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed a postdoctoral<br />
research fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian College of Medicine, and is a graduate of the<br />
Advanced Management <strong>Program</strong> at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, Class of<br />
2011.<br />
