Children’s Choir
Choir practice in church on Fridays
during term time 6.15 to 6.55pm
Come along any Friday.
Ideal for children in school year 3
upwards. Includes RSCM Voice for
Life Award training and opportunities
to sing in church and elsewhere.
Coming up: the chance to sing in
Peterborough Cathedral and in our
annual Christmas Carol Service.

Flower Festival
Our Flower Festival opened with dull
weather, but was visited by a steady
flow of visitors. Many said how they
enjoyed the interpretations of the
arrangements, and the great
refreshments.
Thank you’s must go to all who
prepared the churchyard and erected
the marquees, all the arrangers
without who's support this event this
event would never happen. Not
forgetting all who served
refreshments, manned the stalls and
the stewards on the door.
Thank you to Jonathan Harris for
organising the concert on Saturday
night and the Festal Evensong.
Last but not least the committee
would like to thank our families for
their support and patience.
We hope to be able to donate approx
£2,000 to the church from this
weekend.

Finedon Local History
Society
The October meeting of the society
will be held on Monday 24th October
in the Mission Room, Well Street
Finedon at 7.30pm. The speaker will
be Roy York on “Waterloo, the film
industry in Irthlingborough”.
Admission to the evening will be
£2.50 for members and £3.50 for non
members, the evening is followed by
light refreshments.
