―Dear God, I sometimes fear --
Let me have the courage to Love
anyway … Dear God, I am
sometimes sad -- Let me have the
courage to be joyous anyway …
Dear God, I am sometimes
desirous -- Let me have the
courage to do good for others
anyway.‖ ~ anonymous
experience the internal catharsis & purification that comes from the prolonged exposure
to such radical austerity. Personally, I found this section of the journey very soothing --
though I respect that I am definitely in the minority in this regard.
―Why not go out on a limb …
Isn‘t that where the fruit is?‖
