―And the truth is that as a
man‘s real power grows and
his knowledge widens, ever
the way he can follow grows
narrower; until at last he
chooses nothing, but does
only and wholly what he must
do.‖ ~ Ursula K. LeGuin
This is an actual farmer‘s house literally ―in the middle of nowhere‖ (or on the
outskirts of everywhere, depending upon your chosen perception) … Even by American
standards, this location is extremely isolated, and gives the term ―self-sufficiency‖ a
whole new level of meaning.
―The desire to go home that is a desire to be whole, to know where you are, to
be the point of intersection of all the lines drawn through all the stars, to be the
constellation-maker and the center of the world, that center called Love.‖
~ Rebecca Solnit
