FACILITIES: Media facilities in the Convocation<br />
Center consist of an area at floor level on the<br />
east side of the court for reporters, broadcasters<br />
and photographers, as well as a television-film<br />
booth locate high on the east side of the arena.<br />
There is also a Media Room located on the west<br />
side open to the press before, during and after<br />
games. Admittance to these areas is by special<br />
credential issued only by the A-State Athletics<br />
Media Relations Office.<br />
CREDENTIALS: Credentials for home games are<br />
provided to those members of the media who<br />
are covering the game in a full working capacity.<br />
Requests with names should be submitted in<br />
writing on company letterhead. Passes will be<br />
mailed to valid applicants as long as time permits;<br />
otherwise, passes may be claimed at the<br />
Media Entrance on the east side of the arena<br />
(Lower Green Entrance). Spouses, dates, children<br />
and non-workers are NOT permitted in the media<br />
areas. Passes must be displayed at all times, and<br />
A-State reserves the right to revoke passes and<br />
privileges at any time due to misrepresentation<br />
or misconduct. Requests for road game credentials<br />
may be made through the A-State Media<br />
Relations Men’s Basketball SID (Mark Taylor).<br />
PARKING: A limited number of parking spaces<br />
are available to members of the media on a<br />
paved lot adjacent to the Media Entrance (Lower<br />
Green Entrance) on the east side of the arena,<br />
Lot “A”. Display a parking pass to the working<br />
attendant for admittance. Parking is on a firstcome,<br />
first-serve basis. All parking pass requests<br />
should be made to the Athletics Media Relations<br />
Office.<br />
ENTRY: Media representatives with proper<br />
A-State issued credentials will be allowed entrance<br />
ONLY at the Media Entrance (Lower Green<br />
Entrance) on the east side of the Convocation<br />
Center. This is also the main entry to the athletics<br />
offices and is adjacent to the Media parking area.<br />
GAME SERVICES: Programs, notes, reference<br />
guides, statistical packets, and live statistics (Stat<br />
Broadcast) are provided. Complimentary light refreshments<br />
and food will be available before and<br />
throughout the game.<br />
PHOTOGRAPHERS: Photographers are not allowed<br />
to shoot from in front of the team benches<br />
nor from the catwalk above the floor (for security,<br />
insurance and safety reasons). Along the<br />
end lines, photographers must stay behind the<br />
broken line and clear from the free throw lane.<br />
Credentials are required to shoot from courtside.<br />
Certified photographers of newspapers, magazines,<br />
wire services and TV stations must request<br />
passes in writing. No credentials will be issued to<br />
freelance photographers.<br />

following a brief team meeting and postgame radio<br />
interview. A-State student-athletes will also<br />
be available by request at this time. The A-State<br />
men’s basketball locker room is CLOSED to the<br />
media following games. To arrange for a student-athlete<br />

INJURY INFORMATION POLICY: A student-athlete’s<br />
protected health information is protected<br />
by federal regulations under either the Health<br />
Information Portability and Accountability Act<br />
(HIPAA) or the Family Educational Rights and<br />
Privacy Act of 1974 (the Buckley Amendment)<br />
and may not be disclosed without either the<br />
