6.5 Fitting plinth (optional base to raise machine by (100mm)<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

Skip to 6.7 if you are NOT fitting the optional plinth<br />

DDC Dolphin Ltd manufactures a bespoke machine plinth. This device is to be used if the existing<br />

drain is too high for the standard machine. The plinth is fitted under the machine and becomes an<br />

integral part of the machine. This optional base will lift the waste pipe of the machine by 100mm<br />

The foot mat fitted to the machine must first be removed to ensure the machine is securely fixed<br />

down to the plinth. The removed mat must be disposed of; mats must not be fitted between the<br />

plinth and the floor.<br />

Two engineers will need to work together to carry out this process. Always follow safe working<br />

procedures and use appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE).<br />

The water tank must be empty. This is for safety reasons when tilting the machine and will also<br />

prevent water spilling inside the unit.<br />
