6.5 Fitting plinth (optional base to raise machine by (100mm) IMPORTANT Skip to 6.7 if you are NOT fitting the optional plinth DDC Dolphin Ltd manufactures a bespoke machine plinth. This device is to be used if the existing drain is too high for the standard machine. The plinth is fitted under the machine and becomes an integral part of the machine. This optional base will lift the waste pipe of the machine by 100mm The foot mat fitted to the machine must first be removed to ensure the machine is securely fixed down to the plinth. The removed mat must be disposed of; mats must not be fitted between the plinth and the floor. Two engineers will need to work together to carry out this process. Always follow safe working procedures and use appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE). The water tank must be empty. This is for safety reasons when tilting the machine and will also prevent water spilling inside the unit. Only remove rubber mat if fitting the optional plinth With two engineers working together move the machine away from any obstructions into a position where it can be tilted forwards and backwards with enough room to work around the base of the machine.
