COLLINSON CUSTOM BUILDING presents KINGSTON FRONTENACS GAMEDAY REPORT FRONTS LOOK TO STING SARNIA FRONTS LOOKING TO TAKE THE REGULAR SEASON SERIES WITH A WIN AGAINST THE STING With some of the opponents the Frontenacs have faced so far this season–including Erie, Saginaw, Sault Ste. Marie, Windsor, Flint, Guelph, London, and Sarnia–you might think the Frontenacs have moved to the Western Conference. While the Frontenacs are struggling to move above .500, they have had some success with the usually tough Western Conference match-ups this season. Of the 9 wins to date, 5 have come against Western Conference opponents, including the Sarnia Sting who make their only stop in Kingston this season to face the Frontenacs tonight. Historically, Kingston has had the edge over Sarnia, winning 5 games in the 5 previous seasons to Sarnia’s 4 wins. Last season, the 2 games were split with each team winning 1 game apiece. While both teams sit in 7th place in their respective conferences, the Sting are off to better start in the Western Conference with 12 wins, 9 losses, and 3 overtime losses, good for 27 points. The Sting have struggled as of late, with only 3 wins in their past 10 games. The Frontenacs, home after five straight road games, sit in 7th place in the Eastern Conference standings with 19 points, and a record of 9 wins, 12 losses, and 1 overtime loss in their 22 games played so far this season. The Frontenacs have a record of 4 wins and 6 losses over the past 10 games. SEASON TICKET HOLDER SKATE: Sunday’s game is the annual Season Ticket Holder Skate with the Frontenacs presented by Jack Astor’s. This exclusive event for Season Ticket Holders is always a great chance to get photos and autographs from your favourite Frontenacs. Don’t forget to bring your skates with you to Sunday’s game. You can leave them in your car and grab them after the game or you can check them in with Rogers K-Rock Centre staff (due to safety concerns, Rogers K-Rock Centre staff won’t allow skates to be taken to the seating area) and join us in the 100 level concourse behind section 114, right after Sunday’s game!
