Prize in India Skills
competition.

Entrepreneurship. NSDC,
through its initiative, has
b e e n l e a d i n g t h e
country's participation at
World Skills International
competitions since 2011.
F o r I n d i a S k i l l s
competition 2016, there were a total of 24 skills and student of BVRIT Hyderabad College of
Engineering for Women, Ms. Meher Nori Rishika participated in the skill "IT Software Solutions
for Business" and won the First Prize at National Level.
BADMINTON STAR
OF SBSP
Ms. D.Harsini, a student of Smt. B. Seetha
Polytechnic secured 3rd place in state level
under 18 Badminton Competitions held in
KADAPA district. She also secured 2nd place
in singles under-17 and 19 and 1st place in
Doubles under 19 in a district level Badminton
Competition conducted by Bhimavaram Town
Hall Badminton Council.
Ms. Harishni, the Badminton star of SBSP, started playing badminton at school, when she was in
class IX. She participated in various Badminton competitions, both in singles and doubles
categories and won many prizes at district and zonal levels.
BEST SHORT FILM
WINNERS
Niharika Na Colourful Chilaka
A short moral-based film “Niharika Na Colourful Chilaka” that was made in VISHNU Campus by
the students of Vishnu Institute of Technology, won the Best Short Film Award in Reel Race
contest. This film is fairly light-heartened and fast-paced film. It is remarkably well put together,
and is unique. The camera-work is particularly stunning. The film is by RCV Productions presents
in association with Tara Creations.
PEAK PERFORMANCE
Dr. Indukuri Sai Lakshmi Durga, an intern won an Appreciation Award in “National IAOMR
Conference” for scoring the highest marks in the subject of Oral Medicine & Radiology from Dr.
N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada for the year 2015 and was also felicitated by
our Chairman, Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju.

participate in World Skills competition 2017 at Abu Dhabi, UAE. After winning the competition, Ms.
Rishika attributed her success to special programs in college like WISE.

Dr. D. Sushanthi, II MDS, Dept of Orthodontics won 1st prize for her table clinic presentation
titled “Tooth Accelerator” in “3rd SPIRIT 2016 NATIONAL CONVENTION” organized by the
department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics of SRM Dental College & Hospital
,Chennai on 15th-16th July,2016.
