14 MoU between Reliance Jio and BVRITN An MoU got exchanged between Reliance Jio and BVRITN. As per this MoU, students of BVRITN will get training and placement from Jio. Mr.Balasubhramanyam Iyar, Vice-President, Reliance Jio Infocomm, Dr.Ch.Venkateswarlu, Principal, BVRITN, Dr.I.A.Pasha, HOD, ECE Dept and faculty members participated in this event. A QUARTERLY NEWS PUBLICATION FROM SRI VISHNU EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY WORKSHOPS Recent Trends in IoT DST PROJECT TO ECE DEPARTMENT YOGA RESEARCH PROJECT Project sanctioned to ECE department, titled "Design & Development of an Embedded Assistive YOGA System to Treat Autism Spectrum Disorder" under SATYAM (Science and Technology of Yoga and Meditation) scheme of CSRI, DST, Delhi. INTER ACTION Mr.Sanjeev reddy, Faculty ECE had the opportunity to interact with "Prof. John Volakis, Director, Electroscience Laboratory, Ohio State University, during his visit to NIT Warangal in June 2016 in GIAN program". CONGRAT ULATIONS!! The Department of ECE congratulates their B.Tech Final Year Student Ms.R S S Deepika Rani for getting placed in John Deere. The Department of ECE has organized a two day national level workshop as a part of “IoT Challenge 2016" on 23rd and 24th, August 2016. 95 students from BVRIT and 10 from other colleges attended this workshop. Five teams from BVRIT got selected to the next stage. Out of these five, three teams will be selected for the finals of TECH FEST 2016, which will be held at IIT Mumbai on 16th and 17th December 2016. The workshop served as a qualifier to TECH-FEST 2016, which is going to be held at IIT Bombay. The resource persons were Mr.Fazal and Mr.Saravan from I3indya Technologies, in Collaboration with IIT Bombay. The workshop was organized by 3rd year students K.H.Anuraag Kaushik, K.Snapika, Sushmitha, M.Phani Rohith & Nikhil Chandra Reddy and the faculty co-ordinators were Mr.K.Prabhakar Rao, Professor , Dept of ECE and Mr.Kausalya Nandan ,Associate Professor, Dept of ECE. Mr. Mandeep Singh, Technical Lead, Cyient Ltd conducted training program for the 2nd batch of BVRIT- CYIENT Incubation center on 27th July 2016. Mr Prasad Raju Manager, Cyient Ltd, Prof. Sanjay Dubey, Mr.I.B.K.Raju, Assoc Professor, Mr.U.Gnaneshwara Chary, Asst. Professor and other faculty took part in the session. A total number of 32 students were shortlisted. C-DAC Certified Course The Department of ECE, BVRIT N conducted a 15day course on “Digital System Design (VLSI)” in association with CDAC from 16th June to 2nd July 2016 for B-tech III year students and Mr.M.C.Chinnaiah was the chief coordinator. (of the C- DAC course The total duration of the courses is 15 days.) A One Day workshop on “Verification using system Verilog” was organised on 27th August,2016 by Centre for VLSI design, Dept of ECE along with Lucid Technologies(India) Pvt.Ltd, Hyderabad and Mr. Raja Bandi, Director, LUCID Technologies was the resource person.
