A fantastic FOUR YES votes in
October for The Mosaic Partnership
and 6 out of 6 in Northern Ireland!
It’s been a great month for the Mosaic
Team, working with four superb
locations and BID teams to take the BID
through to ballot and four successful YES
votes, now resulting in an incredible and
unrivalled 85 successful BID ballots in
total for The Mosaic Partnership.
Our first BID for October was Enniskillen,
which went to ballot through
September and October and received
a YES vote at their declaration on 14th
October, resulting in an investment
of £1.2 million in projects to benefit
businesses. Enniskillen has given The
Mosaic Partnership 100% success rate
in Northern Ireland with the 6 pilot NI
BID locations ALL achieving a YES vote at
ballot.
Enniskillen business community gave
a strong message, with a clear 85%
voting in favour of the BID. Welcoming
the news at the ballot announcement
on Friday 14 October, Chairperson of
Enniskillen BID Task Team, Anna Devlin,
said:
“I’m delighted that the businesses of the
Enniskillen BID have overwhelmingly
supported the BID. This is a very exciting
result and we can all look forward to the
next chapter when the Enniskillen BID is
fully operational.”
on 20th October – Sue Mcgowan and
the team there have worked hard to
engage with their stakeholders and that
hard work has paid off with a resounding
YES, a huge vote of confidence from
their businesses, and an overwhelming
mandate to establish a BID in Caterham.
This will mean an investment of over
£500,000 in projects such as improving
car parking, marketing, promotion &
events and supporting businesses with
cost reduction projects.
Andrew Browne, Chair of the Caterham
BID Development Group said:
“I cannot believe what a fantastic result
we have, 91% by number and 93% by RV,
that was much higher that I could have
imagined. That means that the business
community of Caterham has given us a
mandate and now the hard work really
begins. When the BID starts in April 2017
we will start to put our proposals in to
reality and work on Caterham’s image,
promotion, marketing & plan events and
of course look at improving parking in
Caterham. We also need to support our
businesses & help to drive down business
costs like waste & credit card charges”
Our next two BIDs Melton Mowbray
and Loughborough are second term
BIDs, and we are proud to have worked
with both teams in the initial BID
development, and now its been an
absolute pleasure to support them
through the 2nd ballot and into their
successful 2nd term BIDs.
Our second BID of October to go to
ballot was Caterham, with a declaration
Sue Mcgowan and the Caterham BID team celebrating the success of their BID result.
