Revive & Thrive’s Expert Panel Welcome to Issue #8 of Revive & Thrive’s Place for Towns and Cities Magazine I need to keep this intro short due to the sheer number of words that I have poured into this issue. Sorry in advance for this but hope that you find at least some of them interesting… As well as the great content from UK places and practitioners, it’s an issue of invitations. Firstly, within these pages, we are inviting you to nominate yourself or other inspirational people in your place in our Local Legend Campaign. The first phase of this two-year campaign will finish with the inspirational Local Legend Conference and Awards Ceremony in partnership with Northwich BID at the Vale Royal Abbey on February 22nd and 23rd 2017. We are also looking for host/partner towns for our regional events across the UK in 2017 as well as for the autumn Conference. Please, let me know if interested. Next up, we’re looking for place leaders and practitioners to join the Revive & Thrive Non-Executive Board or our Steering Group. This will enable you to lead and shape a single voice and point of contact for BIDs, Councils, Towns, Cities, High Streets and other UK Places.
