lead the intensity. Students can expect an<br />

Holiday Toy Train Display<br />
Elizabethtown Public Library is again hosting<br />
their annual Christmas Toy Train Display<br />
operated by the Train Guys. This popular<br />
display features up to 20 trains running at<br />
once and up to 50 push buttons for guests to<br />
use for starting trains and accessories. New<br />
features for this year include trains from the<br />
Chugginton TV series, expanded amusement<br />
area with new operating roller coaster and<br />
some antique, 2 rail, scale O gauge. Please<br />
plan to attend and bring the whole family.<br />

Elizabethtown Public Library. Requested<br />
minimum donation per person is $2 which<br />
goes to the library. Opening date is Thursday,<br />

The Elizabethtown HUB is funded by the<br />
United Way to make sure that everyone in<br />
Etown has what he or she needs to lead a<br />
productive life. Our goal is to make getting<br />
help easy for anyone who needs it. We<br />
have many services available, but they are<br />
sometimes difficult to find; we want to<br />
remedy that.<br />
The Elizabethtown Area HUB provides low<br />
and low-middle income families with access<br />

Low impact class using a variety of steps,<br />

Jump start your day with this 45 minute<br />
shallow water workout. This class allows you<br />
to set goals, improve your aerobic capacity,<br />

healthier heart. You will vary your pace and<br />
how hard you work – push your limit then<br />
drop back into your comfort zone, then do it<br />
again! Rev it up, recover, repeat!<br />

Hydro Blast<br />
Have a blast while getting a total body<br />

walking, jogging, and strengthening exercises<br />
with resistive equipment.<br />

Aqua Stretch<br />
This class focuses on using the warm 90<br />
degree pool water to improve relaxation,<br />

this class.<br />

Lap Swim/Open Swim/Water Exercise at Indoor Pools<br />
Offered on a continuous basis with a pool membership. A variety of times are<br />
available at both the Patton Pool and the Flohr Pool and Spa.<br />
Brossman Outdoor Pool Season Passes<br />
• Individual summer pool passes are available for all ages at the Brossman Outdoor<br />
Pool. Children under 2 years of age are free, but will still need a pass.<br />
• Pool season runs Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 11:30 am to 6 pm.<br />
(Weekday hours vary at the beginning and end of season due to school year).<br />
• Discounted rates are available for individuals with an active Patton/Flohr Pool<br />
membership.<br />
• Day passes are only sold to Brossman Pool Season Pass holders for their guests.<br />

Please be advised that the popular programs and classes fill early. As another<br />
avenue to help the community with registration, we offer online registration.<br />
Visit our website at GetintoGEARS.org. Below is some information about online<br />
registration:<br />
• There is a convenience fee to register online, the minimum being $2.<br />
• A confirmation of your registration will be e-mailed to you.<br />
Confirmations/Receipts<br />
Once you sign up it is your responsibility to attend the activity.<br />
No confirmations or receipts will be sent unless you wish to provide a<br />
self-addressed, stamped envelope.<br />
Fee Structure<br />
All fees listed in this brochure are for members of the Elizabethtown Borough,<br />
Mount Joy Township and West Donegal Township. Non-members (NM) will<br />
be charged an additional fee.<br />
Refunds/Transfers<br />
GEARS strives to offer you high quality recreation programs. We are confident<br />
that you will like these programs - so confident that we will ensure our<br />
promises to provide that high quality. GEARS guarantees that you will<br />
be satisfied with our recreation programs. If not satisfied, tell us and we<br />
will arrange for you to do one of the following: 1} Repeat the class at no<br />
charge. 2} Receive full credit that can be applied to another program. 3}<br />
Receive a full refund. If you are not satisfied, we kindly request your input<br />
in the form of suggestions, comments, ideas or changes for improvement.<br />
Refund applications may be acquired by calling or writing the GEARS Office.<br />
To obtain a full refund, requests must be made in writing on the provided<br />
application within 10 business days after the last class date. (Exceptions:<br />
sports leagues, tournaments and bus<br />
trips). For refund requests due to reasons<br />
other than dissatisfaction, illness/injury<br />
or an emergency, a processing fee will be<br />
deducted from the refund amount.<br />
