Project Details<br />
Renovation of this turn-of-the century eight story office building located in historic Schenectady,<br />
New York into a 23 room boutique hotel, conference center, upscale lounge and bar. The existing<br />
building dating back to 1908 boasted several unique design features, including a nearly intact cast<br />
iron and brick facade, an original wrought iron elevator enclosure, a cast and wrought iron stair, and<br />
a decorative plaster ceiling discovered during the construction. All of the building’s historic elements<br />
were restored during the project renovations.<br />
Michael Goard was the Project Director for this project in association with Synthesis Architects located in Schenectady, New York.
