Project Details<br />
Phinney Design Group was hired by Ocean Properties, the Owners of The Sagamore Resort, to provide<br />
planning and design assistance for a major renovation to the 126 year old historic resort. Listed on the<br />
National Register of Historic Places and located within the Adirondack Park, The Sagamore is unique<br />
in its setting and natural beauty. Renovations to the hotel were focused on creating a financially viable<br />
facility out of the aging resort. New guest rooms, dining rooms, outdoor pools, and lounges were a<br />
few of the new improvements. The design and construction was completed on a fast track schedule<br />
in order to reopen the resort for the summer season. Long term plans for a new spa and other<br />
amenities are being developed in master planning efforts with the LA Group.
