focussed and land released from <strong>the</strong> Green Belt to allow this to occur.<br />
108. This exercise has revealed that appropriate growth opportunities are available under <strong>the</strong>se<br />
options. The locations where growth should be focussed and land released from <strong>the</strong> Green<br />
Belt are as follows:<br />
Growth Option E (The UK Central Hub Area & HS2):<br />
o Land to <strong>the</strong> east of <strong>the</strong> NEC<br />
Growth Option F – Limited Expansion of Rural Villages/Settlements:<br />
o Land to <strong>the</strong> east of Hampton-in-Arden<br />
o Land to <strong>the</strong> west of Meriden<br />
o Land south and south east of Balsall Common<br />
Growth Option G – Large Scale Urban Extensions:<br />
o Land to <strong>the</strong> north east of Damson Parkway<br />
o Land south of Shirley (ei<strong>the</strong>r side of Tanworth Lane)<br />
o Land east of Solihull (between Lugtrout Lane and Hampton Lane)<br />
Growth Option G –Significant Expansion of Rural Villages/Settlements:<br />
o Land west of Dickens Heath<br />
o Land south of Knowle<br />
o Land north east of Knowle<br />
o Land north east of Balsall Common<br />
