Hosts Clifton Davis is an actor, producer, composer, lecturer, singer and minister. For more than 25 years he has shared his unique gifts with audiences around the world. Mr. Davis is probably best known for his 5 year stint as Reverend Reuben Gregory on the popular television series, “Amen”. He also portrayed Mayor Smalls in the Al Pacino film “Any Given Sunday” and was in the Disney film, “Max Keeble’s Big Movie”. He continues to perform around the country. Clifton received a TONY AWARD nomination for BEST ACTOR in a Musical in 1972 as one of the stars of Broadway’s Tony Award winning hit musical “Two Gentlemen of Verona”. As a composer, he received a Grammy nomination for his hit song “Never Can Say Goodbye”. In 1972 Clifton Davis he also co-produced his first successful concert event, Jazz at Lincoln Center with Hugh Masakela. In 1976 he produced “The Clifton Davis Special” for ABC-T.V. Currently, on Disney’s new Broadway musical production of “Aladdin”, Clifton is the Sultan. Clifton holds a BA in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree. He is the recipient of more than 150 awards and citations for his service to such organizations as the UNCF, NAACP and the American Heart Association. He served as Vice Chancellor at Elizabeth City State University until 1996. His annual Clifton Davis Celebrity Golf Tournament is a successful event held in North Carolina each year that raises thousands of dollars for students who attend Elizabeth City State University. For the past several years, Clifton has generously given time to host the Annual Trey Whitfield Foundation gala. Pam Oliver Whitney is a reporter on FOX NFL SUNDAY PREGAME SHOW and NFL ON FOX GAME SIDELINE REPORTER. Since joining the NFL on FOX in 1995, Pam has become one of the premier sports reporters on network television. In addition to offering feature stories for FOX NFL SUNDAY each week, Pam is also a member of FOX’s lead game broadcast team as a sideline reporter. She is a veteran reporter with 8 Super Bowl assignments with FOX - an astonishing achievement as no other sideline reporter has reported on this many Super Bowls. From 2000 to 2003, Pam served as co-anchor of FSN South’s “Southern Sports Report”. She also contributes to Turner Sports coverage of the NBA playoffs. Prior to joining FOX Sports, Oliver served as a reporter at ESPN, where she gained her football experience covering the NFL Playoffs and the Pam Oliver Whitney NFC Championship Game. In addition to her duties as feature reporter on NFL Prime Monday, she covered each Monday Night Football match-up, and after the football season Pam’s ESPN assignments included the NBA Finals and coverage of Dream Team II at the 1995 World Championships of Basketball. Pam began her broadcasting career as a community affairs reporter for public television. Prior to joining ESPN, Oliver worked at KHOU in Houston as a sports reporter and anchor for one year. Before moving to KHOU, she worked in a similar capacity at WTVT in Tampa. Pam’s additional television credits came at WIVB in Buffalo, WAAY in Huntsville, Ala., WALB in Albany, Ga., and WFSU in Tallahassee. A graduate of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Pam received her degree in broadcast journalism. As an undergraduate, she was an NCAA and AIAW track and field All-American in both the 400 meters and the mile relay. As a member of the mile relay team, Pam had the distinction of participating on the first women’s team from Florida A&M to win a national championship.
