the Montserrat
Montserrat is a multi-peak mountain and
a great place to spend the day in
Barcelona. It offers a rich landscape, a
cool national park and a unique shrine
dedicated to the Virgin of
Montserrat. People flock to this relaxing
and peaceful mountain to get away from
the buzz of the city. Make sure that
your camera is charged because the
views from the top are amazing! I’d say
to set aside at least 5-6 hours if you are
planning a trip to
Monteserrat. Hopefully the weather is

at the Picasso
Museum
Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter,
designer, sculptor and one of the most
influential artists of the 20th
Century. The Museum has the best
collection of his work, with over 3,500
different pieces. The museum not only
displays his artwork, but also reveals
Picasso’s relationship with the city of
Barcelona during his youth. It is cool to
see how his work progressed from his
youth into his adult years. It is FREE if
you visit on Sunday, but the line can get
pretty long (so get there early!) If you
go during the week, skip the line by
buying your ticket on this website.
