Hockey The new 2016-17 edition of the<br />

English River Miners are coming to you from BC,<br />

Alberta, Ontario, and Yukon with a vibrant team<br />

that has already made the CJHL Top 20 Teams in<br />

Canada list this season. The very hard work of this<br />

new group of players have been a great example<br />

for our youth in the community and represent<br />

the HIC (Humility, Integrity, Courage) team motto<br />

both on and off the ice. The Miners provide high<br />

quality sports entertainment; with a never give up<br />

attitude. Please come down to the Cochenoeur<br />

arena and support these fine young men who<br />

represent the Red Lake community and area with<br />

class and dignity. For more detailed information<br />

OUTPOSTS<br />

Hugh and Craig Carlson own and<br />

operate this air service and 12<br />

outposts. They have 2 de Havilland<br />

Beavers, 1 Cessna 185 and 1<br />

Cessna 180. The outposts are on<br />

a variety of lakes from small to<br />

25 miles long, from 25 to 100 air<br />

miles from Red Lake. Walleye and<br />

northern are found in all the lakes<br />

and some lakes have lake trout as<br />

well. Unguided Moose Hunts are<br />

a specialty. They fly canoers, other<br />

property owners, government<br />

people and adventurers. If you are<br />
