Police Reports
Police: Woman failed to yield, caused collision
Havva Kiana-Haresabadi,
30, of 21408 Sage Brush Lane
in Mokena, was charged Jan.
9 with driving without a valid
license and failure to yield
while turning left after police
were dispatched to Wolf
Road and Lincoln Highway
in response to a vehicle collision
that caused a personal
injury. When police asked to
see her driver’s license and
proof of insurance, Kiana-
Haresabadi reportedly produced
an international driving
permit that expired one
year from the date of issuance,
which was November
2015. The alleged victim of
the collision told police that
she was driving through the
intersection when the gray
Ford Kiana-Haresabadi was
driving turned left into the intersection,
causing the collision,
according to the report.
• LeJuan F. Johnson, 20,
of 15708 St. Louis Ave. in
Markham, was charged Jan.
valid license and improper
lighting after police reportedly
observed the gold
Dodge Stratus he was driving
traveling on 191st Street
near La Grange Road without
headlights activated. After
initiating a traffic stop,
police reportedly discovered
that Johnson did not have a
valid driver’s license.
Dec. 30
• Police were reportedly dispatched
to Crossmark Site
Utilities in response to a
theft. The complainant told
police that he arrived at the
shop and later checked the
storage container on the
premises to find that several
items were missing. The
items missing were two Stihl
chop saws, valued at $1,000;
a torpedo heater, valued at
$500; a Rigid pipe threader,
valued at $1,000; and a rotating
laser, valued at $500.
