AT-7000-EUR Features and Functions
Trace Wires Inside Conduit
Detect and trace energised and de-energised wires that are surrounded by metal
conduits by removing the cover off the junction box and using the sensor tip of the
AT-7000-RE receiver to identify the exact wire that transmits the signal generated by
the AT-7000-TE transmitter. Wires in non-metal conduits can be traced directly without
opening the junction box and using the AT-7000-RE Receiver’s Smart Sensor.
Trace energised or de-energised wires by
removing the junction box cover.
Find energised wires without direct connection to wires, signal feed
via current clamp
The SC-7000-EUR current clamp accessory can be used with the AT-7000-TE transmitter
to induce a signal into energised and de-energised wires when direct access to the
wires is neither possible, nor desired. Simply clamp around the desired wire to induce
the signal, then begin tracing.
Induce signal with the current clamp
when there is no bare conductor.
Use the Tip Sensor to trace wires in hard to reach areas
When used with the AT-7000-TE transmitter, the tip sensor pinpoints the location
of energised and de-energised wires in tight, hard to reach spaces. It easily and
accurately traces the targeted energised and de-energised wires in junction boxes,
corners, walls, floors and ceilings to a depth of up to approx. 6 meters (20 feet).
Use the Tip Sensor to trace wires in hard
to reach areas.
Non-contact voltage (NCV) detection
The NCV feature extends functionality of the AT-7000-RE receiver by detecting
energised wires from 90 to 600 V and 40 to 400 Hz without the use of the AT-7000-
TE transmitter. Its adjustable sensitivity fits a range of applications, from detecting
presence of voltage (higher sensitivity) to precisely pinpointing a hot wire in a bundle
(lower sensitivity).
