as ex hubby threatens
to sue over her book ‘On
Becoming’
Adrastic turn of the tide is
imminent, following the
emergence of
incontrovertible evidence
strongly indicating that Toke
Makinwa’s account in her book
“On Becoming” is not all there
is to know about events leading
up to her separation from her
erstwhile husband Maje Ayida
and that her book is nothing but
an exaggerated fabrication.
This most recent development
has come to the fore on account
of damning revelations
discovered proving that Maje
Ayida and Toke Makinwa were
legally separated 6 months into
the marriage.
The leading defamation law
firm in the UK, Carter Ruck,
lawyers to top figures like Elton
John, Simon Cowell, Chelsea
Football Club and The State of
Qatar have recently taken up
Maje Ayida as one of their
clients and in a warning letter
addressed to Toke Makinwa on

Acclaimed King of galala
dance and fire fire crooner,
Daddy Showkey, has confirmed
that he interceded in settling the
ongoing brouhaha between
reggae blues singer, Harrysong,
and his label, Five Star Music.
In an exclusive chat with
Showtime, the diana hit-maker
explained why he got himself
involved in the altercation which
resulted in a police case which
seems to have been resolved
after both parties have given it
serious thoughts and
considerations. According to
Daddy Showkey, both
Harrysong and officials of Five
Star Music are his children in
the music industry, therefore
the onus lies on him to mediate
when there is a rift between
them.
“Yes, they are no longer
fighting, no mind anybody we
don settle them” he confirmed.
Showtime queried further to
highlighted a number of
excerpts from the book that
were untrue, specifically
quoting as follows:
“… We highlight the fact that
our client requested a legal
separation from you within 6
months of your wedding to him
in January 2014, when it
became clear that the marriage
was breaking down. A
separation agreement was
formally signed by you in July
2014…”
“It is therefore well
documented that our client and
you had agreed to separate by
July 2014 (a matter which the
book signally fails to record),
and that this was, self-evidently
far more than ‘’teething”

During an interview session
which held on radio 91.3FM
on Thursday in Lagos, veteran Afrobeat
singer, Dede Mabiaku, angrily
walked out in the middle of interview
claiming he was insulted and
disrespected by Special Adviser to
the President on Media and
Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina,
who was also a guest on the
same radio show with him.
During the discussions,
Mabiaku interjected while
Adesina was responding
to a question asked
by the anchor on

over the nation’s current economic
situation, distracting Adesina who requested
that Mabiaku allow him finish with his
response then he could air his own opinion.
The anchor, Faith, also asked Mabiaku to
exercise patience, to which Mabiaku obliged.
Displeased with the manner in which
Adesina and the anchor had shut him up
earlier, Mabiaku angrily refused to go on
with the interview. He demanded an apology
from Femi Adesina who bluntly refused,
stressing that he had politely requested
Mabiaku to be patient since the question was
directed at him and not Mabiaku. This got
Mabiaku angrier; threatening to walk out of
the show if Adesina refused to apologize to
him. “Why do you want to hear me? When
he had the audacity to tell me to shut up and
you told me to stop! I will not use the word
‘Shut up’ that is what he said, play your tape
back and I’ll walk out now on this.” Adesina
tried to set the records straight with Mabiaku
but he was too angry to listen, “No, that’s
the end of it, you don’t have the
right to tell me to shut up
because you work with the
government, hell no, I’m
here to tell you things about
truth not to be insulted by
somebody who works in
government, who wants to
defend the government,
no, I’m out of here,”
he thundered and
walked out.
