LogAutoTruncate<br />

Determines whether the first connection to the data store should proceed if<br />

<strong>TimesTen</strong> recovery encounters a defective log record.<br />

If Access Control is enabled, this attribute requires ADMIN privileges.<br />

Setting Set LogAutoTruncate as follows:<br />

LogAutoTruncate 0—If a defective log record is<br />

ecnountered, terminate recovery<br />

<strong>and</strong> return an error to the<br />

connecting application.<br />

Checkpoint <strong>and</strong> log files remain<br />

unmodified.<br />

1—If a defective log record is<br />

encountered, truncate the log at<br />

the defective record’s location <strong>and</strong><br />

continue with receovery. The<br />

original log files are moved to a<br />

directory called savedLogFiles,<br />

which is created as a subirectory<br />

of the log directory. The log files<br />

are saved for diagnostic purposes<br />

(default).<br />
