<strong>CYA</strong> REGATTA<br />
The 3-day annual <strong>Classic</strong> Yacht Association<br />
regatta is the premier sailing event on the <strong>CYA</strong><br />
events calendar. The original <strong>Classic</strong> yacht regatta<br />
was held in 2000 called the Logan Cup. It became<br />
an annual event in 2005 and until 2015, it was<br />
based in the Viaduct Harbour area with racing<br />
taking place in the magnificent Hauraki Gulf.<br />
In 2016 the regatta moved it’s race headquarters to<br />
the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. The fleet<br />
continues to grow with up to 75 yachts competing<br />
within seven divisions over four races.<br />
