INVITATION TO ATTEND<br />
<strong>2017</strong> ANNUAL CLINICAL AND SCIENTIFIC MEETING<br />
This year’s Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting will focus on the Next Generation<br />
of Health Care. An exciting <strong>program</strong> has been created that captures advances in<br />
research, cutting-edge topics, and innovation. The meeting will be held at the San<br />
Diego Convention Center on May 6 – 9, <strong>2017</strong>.<br />
The President’s Program will begin on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM with three<br />
excellent speakers who will address global health and advocacy. The Presidential<br />
Program speakers include, Herbert B. Peterson, MD, Neel T. Shah, MD and Guy Winch,<br />
PhD, who will also host a book signing at the <strong>ACOG</strong> Bookstore following his lecture.<br />
Special events this year include the Welcome Reception, which will be Friday, May 5<br />
from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM on the lawn area outside of the Hilton Bayfront Hotel. The Mix<br />
and Mingle Alumni Reception and the Medical Student, JFCAC, and Young Physician<br />
Reception will be Sunday evening at the Hilton. The entire meeting will be packed with<br />
education, science, technology, networking, surgery and so much more!<br />
The exhibit hall will have its grand opening at 10:00 AM on Sunday morning, with<br />
complimentary lunch in the hall that day. Coffee breaks will be held in the hall on<br />
Monday morning and afternoon, in addition to the reception following Convocation.<br />
Be sure to stop by the hall to learn about new products and devices important to<br />
your practice.<br />
Postgraduate and Hands-on courses will close out the meeting, and will be offered<br />
Monday afternoon and Tuesday; they also provide attendees with an exceptional<br />
opportunity to learn both the fundamentals of and the latest advances in ob-gyn. I<br />
hope you’ll be able to attend one or two in addition to the clinical seminars, surgical<br />
tutorials, colloquia, and lunch events we have planned this year.<br />
