Aquarium, perched on the bluffs overlooking La

The Birch Aquarium, interpretive center for
Scripps Institution of Oceanography, presents the
underwater world of sea creatures in realistic
habitats. Experience the frontiers of marine
science through interactive exhibits featuring
both shore and ocean studies which provides
a fascinating insight into our mysterious,
underwater world.
Then, take in the beautiful views of the coastline as you travel into
the village, the heart of La Jolla. La Jolla is an exquisite combination
of a Mediterranean resort atmosphere and Southern California
fun. This picturesque neighborhood is filled with international art
galleries, trendy boutiques, designer shops, casual cafes and fine
dining. Time is allotted to browse through shops and galleries along
Prospect Street or enjoy lunch at a café overlooking the ocean.
