Consumer Behavior: The purpose of this<br />
course is to <strong>in</strong>troduce a general and<br />

the <strong>in</strong>dividual consumer or organizations.<br />
Strategic Human Resource Management:<br />
The course will consider the chang<strong>in</strong>g role<br />
of HRS with<strong>in</strong> the organization and its<br />
environment and the manner <strong>in</strong> which it<br />
supports the achievement bus<strong>in</strong>ess goals.<br />
This will be considered with<strong>in</strong> a European<br />
context whilst look<strong>in</strong>g at best practice from<br />
the USA.<br />
Motivat<strong>in</strong>g the Workforce: The objectives<br />
of the workforce tools and motivation<br />
techniques course are to present the<br />
theoretical models connected with the<br />
concept of motivation, and to apprehend<br />
the practical elements contribut<strong>in</strong>g to the<br />
development of motivation.<br />
F<strong>in</strong>ancial Management: The course will<br />
provide students with the capability to<br />
produce statistical data concern<strong>in</strong>g the<br />
runn<strong>in</strong>g of a company (<strong>in</strong>strument panels,<br />
budgets…); re-use this <strong>in</strong>formation to<br />
provide leaders with help <strong>in</strong> strategic<br />
decision mak<strong>in</strong>g; expla<strong>in</strong> the concept of<br />
performance pilot<strong>in</strong>g ("worth" creation);<br />
measure and pilot this worth creation;<br />
elaborate the elements required to prepare a<br />

International Economics: This course<br />
provides an <strong>in</strong>sight <strong>in</strong>to a broad range of<br />
economic aspects of the European Union;<br />
provides a basis for further studies <strong>in</strong><br />
International Bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />
and F<strong>in</strong>ance; clarifies the role of the<br />
European Union <strong>in</strong>stitutions <strong>in</strong> bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />
activities; allows students to have a better<br />
understand<strong>in</strong>g of the regional<br />
trade regimes and to understand the<br />
European f<strong>in</strong>ancial mechanisms (Euro<br />

French Culture and Civilization: The<br />
course <strong>in</strong>troduces students to the culture,<br />
society, and recent history of <strong>France</strong>. The<br />
aim is to provide a more thorough<br />
understand<strong>in</strong>g of French culture and<br />
civilization by present<strong>in</strong>g certa<strong>in</strong> aspects of<br />
contemporary <strong>France</strong> <strong>in</strong> an attempt to make<br />
the themes wide-rang<strong>in</strong>g, varied and viewed<br />
from a multidiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary perspective.<br />
Spr<strong>in</strong>g Session<br />
Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Strategy: Corporate strategy<br />
considers the company as a whole: that is<br />
from a general managerial viewpo<strong>in</strong>t.<br />
Strategic choices are the core of corporate<br />
strategy: success demands efficient<br />
implementation. This course presents the<br />
elements which are essential to def<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />
objectives and develop<strong>in</strong>g strategies to meet<br />
those objectives. The course uses numerous<br />
case studies which are dealt with <strong>in</strong> tutorials<br />
and dur<strong>in</strong>g the Strategic Decision Workshop<br />
at the end of the period.<br />
Information Systems-Strategy and<br />
Management: The <strong>in</strong>formation system is<br />
analyzed from a strategic viewpo<strong>in</strong>t, as a<br />
support for corporate strategy. This course<br />
will cover the strategic aspect of the<br />
Information system; trends <strong>in</strong> technological<br />
evolution; the impact of the Information<br />
system on corporate processes and<br />
organization.<br />
