Dear neighbours<br />
I can't quite believe it's three years since I<br />
published the first edition of E9 Magazine. It's<br />
changed a bit since then... not least the title. What<br />
became LoveEast continues to evolve and is a<br />
very different magazine to the one that dropped<br />
through letterboxes back in 2014.<br />
The biggest change was the design. Ilka Dickens<br />
did me proud there, and she continues to forge<br />
ahead with her beautiful creations. You can see<br />
more of her and other makers' work at the Urban<br />
Makers' pop-up shop at Fount London (see p21).<br />
It would be great to get some feedback from<br />
readers, so please do drop me a line if you feel<br />
the urge to tell me what you like or what you'd like<br />
to see in future editions.<br />
A fitting gift to celebrate LoveEast's third birthday<br />
is our involvement with the #Artskickers Awards.<br />
This is the amazing brainchild of Angie Gough<br />
(aka @TheArtsCrusader), and its mission is to big<br />
up individuals and organisations who are doing<br />
fantastic things to engage people with the arts in<br />
East London. Head over to p13 to read all about<br />
how to enter, who the judges are and what's in<br />
store for the lucky winners. Best put your skates<br />
on, though, nominations close on 6 <strong>March</strong>.<br />
