Traditional Oak, anything but traditional
Oak is at the heart of everything we do at Neptune. Our Henley kitchen has been
reimagined to emphasise the beauty of the wood, whilst giving it a modern edge
We love all of the kitchens in the
Neptune range and our 6,500sq ft
Tonbridge showroom is the
perfect place to show them off.
Now, for the first time in four
years, instead of sending all our
lovely kitchen fitters out to our
customers, some of them are
here with us installing a shiny,
new kitchen ready for its launch
at the beginning of March.
Each of our kitchens has its own
character and merits but we still
haven’t decided on our personal
favourite. Our customers often fall
for painted options such as the
traditional Suffolk, Chichester or
the contemporary Limehouse.
Our Henley kitchen has, until
now, occupied the realm of the
traditional country kitchen. It has
always been a celebration of oak
in its natural state, with a beautiful,
soft finish, which we have recently
taken back to the drawing
board to add more versatility,
ingenuity and modernity. Now
more streamlined, we’ve removed
the ornate skirting, cornice and
curves, we like to think of it as
‘urban loft meets country barn’.
You can of course create a
beautifully made traditional
oak kitchen, though we would
encourage you to consider mixing
it with some painted elements like
Snow, our version of a brilliant
white, with the insides in Mist, a
beautiful soft grey, which adds
contrast and practicality.
The way things are shaping up, we
may well have a new favourite…
