Mastercam X2 Service Patch for
Update Manager
There is an issue with Mastercam X2 that prevents
users from downloading patches via the Update
Manager. The Mastercam X2 Patch 1 is now available
on the Mastercam Web site, www.mastercam.com
under the X2 Downloads section.
This patch MUST be installed
to use the Update Manager
with Mastercam X2. Once
you download and install the
patch, you will be able to use
the Update Manager for future
Mastercam X2 updates and
releases.

• Always attempt to contact your Mastercam Reseller
first.
• Provide your contact information, Mastercam
version you are running, and the serial number of
your SIM.
• Be ready to describe the problem in detail.
• Be at your computer when you call.
• Try to duplicate the problem before calling. Our
technician may require you to duplicate the problem
while you are on the phone.
When you call, have ready a complete description of
your hardware, including your operating system (OS),
central processing unit (CPU), mouse, and memory.
You can leave a message for CNC Support Services via
e-mail to posts@mastercam.com. Please include:
• Version of Mastercam you’re running.
• Serial number of your SIM.
• Telephone number where you can be reached.
• Detailed description of your issue.
• Files required to reproduce the issue including the
Mastercam geometry file (MCX, MC9, etc.), system
configuration files, and/or post processors.
• Mastercam X and X2 customers should use Zip2Go
to gather part files into a Z2G file and attach this
file to the e-mail. For more information on using
Zip2Go, please refer to the Mastercam Help.
