2. The passage through the site is based on the original driveway, however, we decided to keep the cars out of the site, which in turn becomes the main passage through the site. 1. The Maximin church is our central point, and with a design like this, the site can be roughly divided into four parts. 3. The main advantage of the block typology is its defined and closed urban structure. Each block has its own intimate core, which can be used as courtyards and gardens. The inner structure of the block typology is similiar to the linear typology, needing a lot of circulation spaces. The inner corners of the block don‘t get natural lights, that makes them only suitable for circulation or secondary rooms. As shown in the shadow pictos, one can tell that the shadows of the structure shades parts of its own.
