from cities all over the region, and their “Casa de Maria” is there to fill many of their physical and<br />
spiritual needs during their stay in Monterrey. The TLIG Prayer Groups of Monterrey feel very<br />
strongly the need to serve Our Lord and Our Lady, and inspired by the<br />
Messages of <strong>True</strong> <strong>Life</strong> in <strong>God</strong>, continue serving the poor in their part of<br />
the city, also sharing prayers and comfort with them, and others in the<br />
surrounding neighborhood.<br />
<strong>In</strong> October 2008, through the help of donations, work began to enlarge<br />
the Dining/Prayer room. Everything was done in a week's time, allowing<br />
the feeding of the needy to go on uninterrupted, helping them with not only<br />
food but with prayers and spiritual help. With much joy, the Beth Myriam caregivers feel the presence<br />
of Our Blessed Mother and the loving help of Our Lord, giving them the strength to continue<br />
their beautiful work. The poor are thankful to receive the care and the love of <strong>God</strong> through the generosity<br />
of the BM caregivers.<br />
Peru<br />
Beth Myriam Barranco: 120 lunches offered daily, from Monday to<br />
Friday. <strong>In</strong> Lima, 40 children and 80 adults are evangelised and<br />
receive one hot meal daily, from Monday to Friday. Free medical<br />
consultation and medicines are offered every Monday. When<br />
donated to the Beth Myriam, clothes are provided. Other activities<br />
include: free haircuts twice a month, every first Saturday of the<br />
month there is TLIG Prayer Meeting.<br />
Philippines<br />
Beth Myriam "On Wheels", Mountain Province: Travelling to<br />
distant tribal villages in the mountainous north of the Philippines, food,<br />
clothing, and free medical assistance are supplied to the villagers, and<br />
TLIG Prayer Groups are formed. 250 meals are brought once a week to<br />
the poor in 8 villages and to the local prison. Through the work of the<br />
TLIG Tuao volunteers of this Beth Myriam, the Lord has established TLIG<br />
vineyards (Prayer Groups) in the Municipal Jail and in 8 far-flung villages where the poorest of the<br />
