School Captains and SRC
We have been so proud to witness increased student involvement and say in shaping the running of the SRC and its events this term.
This has culminated in the decision to trial vertical groups for the production of the Easter Baskets this term and resulted in students
getting to know more students in other year levels, working in teams to complete tasks. Well done to the captains for suggesting this
trial and for SRC representatives for running the lesson each time it has been scheduled in preparing the team's project; and further
thanks to our SRC teachers, Jacqui Garrigan and Rebecca McClure who have supported their student team in developing skills to lead
their peers and run team building activities in the vertical groups.
Stationery and Uniform
These term holidays are timely to again stock the pencil cases and purchase any necessary exercise books ready for Term 2. We are
also expecting that all of our students are in full school uniform for Term 2. Lowes are now fully stocked with an array of our
uniform.
And finally.... It's been a busy and productive Term One with all of our staff fully embracing the school's portal to provide timely
feedback on each student's progress this term, recording down key assessment tasks, due dates, written comments and uploading
copies of the task demands and rubrics. Enjoy the term's holiday and I look forward to seeing everyone geared up for another great
term ahead in Term 2.
